My other new-ish favorite band is the Walkmen. We saw them live last year and it was an amazing live show.
Last night at Vox Populi Gallery, we witnessed Mirror/Dash, a noise-rock outfit consisting of Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore from Sonic Youth. It was fun to watch Michelle get itchy panties over Kim. Hopefully she will be posting pictures soon. Anyhow - I am not a fan of art-noise-rock (is that what you call it) but I really enjoyed the show. But what I loved most was watching all the fans taking photos ravenously...
